Natural Lashes Holy Trinity
Wanting those naturally long lashes that curl to the heavens? We all do, but the reality is only a lucky few have that naturally. However, there’s hope! Here are my tips for longer, fuller, sexier lashes (WITHOUT the extensions)
So lets be honest, nowadays every physical aspect of our bodies that we don’t like can be fixed with some sort of procedure, whether it is surgical or not. While there’s nothing wrong with that, personally, I love doing things naturally.
Being someone that has extremely short and straight lashes, I have always wanted to do something about it. After years, I have finally found my three holy grail products for better lashes.
Vegamour Lash Serum
Hair serums and oils usually get questioned by the internet, lash serums however have science behind them. When doing research on which lash serum would suit me best, I learned that lash serums that contain prostaglandins are amazing to grow your lashes. However prostaglandins can have many side effects on the eyes such as decreasing the undereye fat and causing irritation the eyelid. Vegamour lash serum is great for growing lashes and it does not contain prostaglandins. Instead, Vegamour GRO serum works by using plant based actives such as red clover and mung bean in order to promote healthier fuller looking lashes. Red clover contains isoflavones, particularly biochanin A, which works by inhibiting the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that can shorten the growth phase of hair. Mung bean works by providing essential nutrients like protein, B vitamins, zinc, iron, and magnesium, which are crucial for healthy hair and lash growth. It also helps to strengthen the dermal papilla, the structure at the base of the hair follicle, leading to thicker lashes.
Downside: Most users say that this does take about 3-5 months to see results therefore, consistency and patience is KEY!
2. Shiseido Eyelash curler
I always thought that all eyelash curlers do the same thing… don’t they? After having the same eyelash curler for years, I thought that my lashes just do not curl well. I was convinced I needed either eyelash extensions or a lash lift to get rid of the look of straight lashes. After not wanting to spend the money and time maintaining eyelash extensions or a lash lift, I came across the Shiseido eyelash curler. The reason that this curler works SO much better than others is because its design, particularly the broad curve and flexible silicon rubber pads, allows it to grab every lash, even those near the inner and outer corners of the eye, providing a complete curl. The best part about this curler is that is comes with an additional rubber pad so that it can be replaced down the line.
Downside: Expensive for an eyelash curler (BUT worth every penny in my opinion)
3. Lancome Monsieur Big Volume Mascara
Now there are A LOT of great mascara’s on the market and we’ve all gone down the rabbit hole of trying to find the best one and in the process owning way too many in our makeup kits. Personally, I hate having a million and half mascaras laying around. I want to find the best one and JUSt have that forever (#minimalism?). Recently I tried the Lancome Monsieur Big Volume Mascara and let me tell you, it truly lives up to its name. Not only does this mascara makes my lashes full, it also provides length, giving me the false lashes effect without the hassle.
Combing this holy grail trinity is going to give you the best natural lashes guaranteed.
